报告人简介:

Prof. Preeti Thakur currently holds the position of Head, Department of Nanotechnology at Amity University Haryana. She is among top 2% researcher by Stanford University ranking. Prof Preeti is also Editor of prestigious journal of Elsevier’s Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic MaterialsA recipient of a post-doctorate and a gold medalist in Masters, she completed her Ph.D in 2009 in Electronics from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Her research endeavors encompass the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles for various applications, including radar-absorbing materials, sensors, high-frequency technologies, wastewater treatment, and biomedical and agricultural applications. Prof. Thakur boasts an impressive publication record, with over 170 articles featured in SCI/Scopus-indexed international journals. Additionally, she has filed 47 patents and actively contributes as a reviewer for international-indexed journals.

Dr. Preeti has delivered numerous invited talks at national and international conferences worldwide. She has successfully completed several government-funded projects sponsored by DRDO, MNRE, DAE, Royal Society of Engineering UK among others

报告摘要：

Different types of Magnetic nanopartices soecifically iron oxide based are prepared in Lab, subjected to various conditions and doped with several metals. Thereafter, the structural, optical, electrical and magnetic properties are tuned. Electromagnetic investigations were performed by using VNA. These materials were found useful for Substrate of Patch Antenna and RADAR applications
